Our story isn't overly long or complex, and it's certainly not
ripe with controversy. Instead it's a simple tale of a
talented IT tech with a vision for achieving something more.
How We Started
In 1996, Sarit Singhal served as an outside consultant for Level
I and Level II client support at Harnischfeger Corporation of
Milwaukee, (now Joy Global, Inc.). Later that year, Singhal
founded and incorporated Superior Support Resources (SSR), hiring
his first employee, though Sarit continued to serve as his
employer's primary IT solutions provider.
By the year 2000, SSR landed a second major client, Morris
Material Handling, LLC (MMH) and four more employees were added to
the staff. A business on the move, SSR was awarded the first
MMAC Future 50 Award that year.
Where We've Been
In 2001, SSR analyzed the southeast Wisconsin market and
established a business model to help small to mid-sized companies
better align workers, processes and technologies. In addition, the
company established a Strategic Partner Program to provide
complementary services to clients. SSR also focused on hiring
skilled employees to ensure the company's diverse technology
proficiencies. To retain SSR's premium talent, the company offered
competitive salary and benefits matched by an engaging office
environment that would keep workers with the company for the long
In 2003, we added software development to our capabilities. In
2005, we received our minority certification. In 2007, we started a
staffing group, which allows for employees with special skill sets
to work in the public sector, often positioned ideally for
government-oriented IT work.
In April of 2009, we opened our data center in Pewaukee and
starting providing cloud and disaster recovery services. Also that
year, SSR acquired Peak Resources, LLC (PRC) which widened the
scope of services available to clients, including Managed Services
and a certified business telephone solution (VOIP). In 2010, the
company celebrated 10 years as a provider of IT services to
non-profits, government and small to mid-sized businesses. SSR now
serves more than 250 clients in southeast Wisconsin.
Where We're Headed
Needs change as the IT industry evolves, so SSR is committed to
staying at the forefront to provide the right services and
solutions for our clients and a challenging, but rewarding work
environment to help our team members succeed.
